On June 1, 2022, at the session of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Khavinson, director of the autonomous scientific non-profit organization of higher education of the Research Center "St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology", was elected an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Department of Medical Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences with a degree in molecular medicine).
