The Institute is actively involved in introducing the results of research projects into the clinical practice in Europe and rest of the world. The Institute carries out studies on 12 research projects under the agreements on priority research cooperation with 20 countries. The Institute cooperates with a wide range of organizations and institutions.
Non-governmental cooperation has been established between the Institute and the United Nations Organization (UNO) and the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG). The Institute has been included in the list of research centers, cooperating in the framework of the UN Research Agenda on Ageing for the 21st Century.
